Summary

The Applicant and the Respondent were in a relationship for a number of years and have a child. Little did the Applicant know, the Respondent had served a sentence for murder and was released a few years prior to the relationship commencing.

Domestic abuse was a constant feature throughout the relationship. The Applicant was living in a state of fear.

A Non-Molestation Order was granted in the Applicant’s favour. The Respondent breached it twice by:

  2. Posting about the Applicant and the child on a public forum.

The Applicant applied for an extension of the Non-Molestation Order which was granted in order to protect her and the child for a further two years.
