Perry Murphy

Pupil Barrister

Perry Murphy is a pupil barrister with almost two decades of legal experience. Prior to joining the Bar, Perry practised for many years as a solicitor before obtaining Higher Rights of Audience and becoming a solicitor advocate. He developed an extensive practice in family and private client law, regularly appearing as an advocate in the Family Court and County Court. His substantial courtroom experience and broad litigation background provide clients with the benefit of practical and strategically focused advice.

Having spent many years as a solicitor with day-to-day responsibility for clients and overall conduct of their cases, Perry understands that effective representation extends beyond courtroom advocacy. He appreciates the importance of listening carefully to clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout what is often a very difficult and stressful time. Perry’s experience enables him to combine strong advocacy with a client-focused approach that recognises both the legal and personal issues at the heart of every case while providing clear and practical advice.

Clients value Perry for his calm and approachable manner, as well as his pragmatic approach. His background as both a solicitor and advocate means he understands the pressures facing those instructing him and the importance of clear advice. Perry works collaboratively with solicitors while ensuring clients remain informed and understand the decisions affecting their case.
